The first six months of classes, they will be learning the basics. My students get trained to be stage ready within a year to perform small bhajans and songs.
I don’t give make- up classes, if the student misses a class. If I miss a class, I will arrange an extra class which works for everyone. I will not reschedule or arrange classes in advance if anyone in the class is traveling or is not going to be present in a class due to any reason. However, I can go over what was missed as a revision exercise in the next class.
I don’t encourage recording in the class. I am very traditional in my style of teaching. I want the learner to focus and be completely active in the class. A recording always puts them at ease, as they think they can go back and refer to it, and not pay attention in class.
The parent/s should not sit in the class. The learner has to be alone to focus and sing without having the fear of being judged.
They must practice for 10 minutes daily or thrice a week. If they don't put in any effort, they will not see results.
They can reach out to me with emails and recordings for assistance and I will guide them with feedback and references.
After every class, I will give homework, which they must complete and submit (email) before their next class.
I will help them refine/polish their songs if they want to participate in any competition or events.
Duration of the class will depend on the age and learning level of the students.
I give one-on-one private lessons as well as small group lessons. Group classes will have 2 or 3 students only.
I am open to taking anyone who wants learn from the age of 5 and above.
